A life-saving app is being launched for people with epilepsy after a Bristol nurse died suddenly from a seizure.
Katie Hallett, a 20-year-old trainee nurse at UWE, died at her home after an epileptic fit in 2006.
She suffered from a little-known event called Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy, or SUDEP.
Katie had been having roughly two seizures a year since the age of 16, but both she and her family thought her epilepsy was well under control with medication.
